Meet your teacher.

Hi I’m Jason and I’ve been playing and teaching guitar for over 30 years. I began like many guitarists - teaching myself my favorite songs in my bedroom and jamming with friends. That lead to bands, then music school where I was awarded Outstanding Guitar Student in my class, then more bands, writing, recording, producing, teaching and playing every chance I got.

Music (and specifically guitar) has been my North Star for most of my life and I love helping students who share that passion learn the instrument and advance toward their personal goals, whatever they may be.

No matter their level of experience, I strive to meet students where they are and teach what they want to learn. No lecturing, no cracking knuckles with a ruler, no forcing material on them that they are not interested in. We’ll work hard but most importantly, we’ll keep it light and have fun!
